The Wonders of Cameras and Photography

For the longest time, the world was empty with no photography. Only paintings, sketches, and drawings existed. It was indeed a very happy day when man discovered how to take pictures of things they saw. The whole sphere of cameras and photography has only constantly continued to rapidly grow and improve.

Cameras used to be quite large and bulky, and took hours upon hours to process just one picture. That was when they didn’t even print in color, just black and white! These cameras would stand up on a tripod and people would sit and hold still in front of the camera for hours. Obviously and thankfully, cameras have improved quite a bit since then.

Even within recent years, cameras and photography have been advancing. Just ten to twenty years ago people used polaroid cameras and cheap cameras with film from the drugstore. Those kinds of cameras are almost considered “vintage” in this day and age. Instead of having to get film developed from a cheap camera that only holds 25 pictures, now you just order prints from a memory card. Now people can even order their prints online and either pick them up the same day or even have them delivered! The advances in photography that are still being made continually astound the mind. There are all sorts of cameras and digital cameras now.

The digital photography area is being a world within itself in this digital age. There are high quality, top-notch DSLR cameras now, there are smaller versions of those, there are more portable digital cameras, and there are even digital cameras easy enough for a grandmother to use! Cameras now come in all sorts of different shapes, sizes, and colors. The features in each camera also vary too. The opportunities to advance photography continue to grow. The possibilities and choices are just endless for cameras and photography.
