What do you think of the Canon GL-2 Mini DV 3 CCD Camcorder?
I make small local action ski shorts. The camera is in my price range, but I am curious; has anyone ever had problems with it? Anything I should know about besides very common stats and information?
A very good quality camera, Will serve you better than a HDD camera, as the GL is able to cope with the rough treatment, as for “remove tape” probs this is normally down to swapping makers of tapes, they are supposed to be the same but it realty the lube they use is different and can mess up the record heads, requiring them to be cleaned more often.
The top handle makes it great for your type of filming, although a harness may be better. also having a viewfinder and screen helps, as you can save a lot of power by not using the screen.
