Friendship Day Gifts
People have been celebrating friendship day since 1935. This celebration was started in India, Bangladesh and Malaysia many years ago and through social media it’s getting popular all around the World. At this day friends exchange gifts with each other. So what will you give your friends? Silver jewellery is always a good idea to give away. Many people wear jewellery all around the World so it is a popular choice amongst many.
Although it is celebrated more in South Asian countries, friendship day is slowly starting to get popular in UK and US. There has been rumours about US government declaring first Sunday of August as their National freindship day. But its not actually proven yet. There are lots of people who have already started celebrating friendship day even though its not official.
So what can you give your friends on this day?
To give to your friend there are many things you can use as a gift. Some give away jewelleries like I mentioned above and some give away clothing materials. For your female friends jewellery like silver necklaces, silver brooches , silver earrings and silver rings would be a nice gift. For your male friends silver bracelets and cufflinks would be ideal. Though it depends on if they are a fond of jewellery or not. If some of your friends are not a fan of jewellery then you can always get them something else.
For example – a camera would be an ideal gift for one of your friends who has an interest in photography. Or for someone who likes writing you can always get them a stylish or famous pen which they will be proud of having. So it’s all using your initiative to be honest.
