What is good maintenance for flutes to keep them clean and working well.?
I generally plunge the inside chamber after pratice with felt cloth. What else could be recommended?

All the basics just mentioned.
Swab the insides, clean fingerprints off the outsides with a dry cloth. Avoid polishing with silver polish, unless it’s heavily tarnished. Each time you polish you remove silver, and risk damaging the pads and or springs (if you’re too vigorous.)

Edit 1: doublex four-thirty-five, you change your cork every two months?! Let’s see, I’ve changed mine exactly …. zero times in thirty-four years. I’ve replaced the trill key corks a few times when they’ve fallen off or got compressed. I’ve had the odd broken spring replaced. And a round of pads. But head cork, never.
