Playing Xbox 360 on the Dell XPS One?
Elemental Videos explained to SUPERman that the only way to play an Xbox 360 on a Dell XPS One as to either use a capture card or an HD VGA A/V cable. SUPERman said it worked, but which solution, and how?
Since the XPS One is an all in one system, I am assuming that the capture card was the solution. I have used capture cards to record Analog video into Pinnacle, so I am familiar with the concept. But I am not sure how to use it to view the video from the XBox (or Wii for that matter). Do I have to play it through the video capture software (which would actually be cool because that would allow my son to use the game in his own videos).

Video capture cards will let you take video input (onto any PC, not just the XPS One) and record it to hard drive in MPEG (etc.) format. Be aware that your card will probably only work in standard and not high definition.
