Which point & shoot camera should I choose? (pro’s only please)?
I have my own DSLR and would love to give the same thing to my friend for her birthday, but I really don’t want to go broke. Go figure.
Anyway, I was checking out A LOT of models and after extensive research I narrowed it down to these three candidates.

So which one should I choose for her?
Her main uses ( I assume)
* Taking images for her social networks and small prints. (she likes skin retouching and LOVES to take pictures of her 1 year old, naturally)
* She plans to become a director and while it may be a joke to use this for indi mini movies, it’s better than nothing, which is what she has right now.
I would reccomend the Nikon, of all of your choices. Nikon, Canon, and Sony are by far superior to the other point and shoot camera brands, so any of those would be great. To be honest, in whatever price rang you are looking for, of those brands, they are all going to be pretty similar. I personally prefer Canon, but I know that the other brands are good too. What brand of DSLR do you have? And do you like it? Becasue even though its a different type of camera, consider how well you like the brand. I’ve posted some links to nice looking cameras, but you know best what you’re looking for. What price range, does it matter how big is is (the larger super zoom ones are great, but bulkier), consider stuff like that.
