CANON SX210 IS, Canon point and shoots are one of the best quality cameras for “Point and Shoots”. They may be very basic looking compared to the sleeker looking Sony models or Kodak, but don’t fall for that.
Based on the fact that you are looking for a point and shoot remember this:
Megapixels isn’t everything there is to a camera, just because one has more than another doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better.
Look for optical zoom vs digital zoom, that will give you a clearer pictures less pixelated .
Kodak is a horrible point and shoot based on personal experience and from a selling point of view.
Choices from best to worst: Canon, Lumix, Sony, Kodak.
