Canon 60D : Best Upgrade From Rebel XT

I mainly upgraded into the Canon EOS 60D for the ergonomics and found over the last few months that the particular flip out screen is actually great when put away as a way to protect the screen. if your screen is out of sight this could help you learn (like them did me) to throw confidently in manual function without reviewing photos immediately after capture. It has additionally helped me become very efficient at adjusting shutter, iso, and aperture settings to the fly under changing lights conditions in manual method.

I have large arms, this Canon 60D is and than any Rebel. the fps is good, but i’m not a machine gun shooter, consequently whatever.
“L” lenses feel better and more balanced than with that Rebel line. I also think impression quality is slightly better than the t2i, just my opinion.

Canon doesn’t market this as being weather sealed, but it does exist. Not as much being a 1D camera or the actual 7D, but seals accomplish exist..just google your diagram. I have used this specific in heavy rain confidently, no issues so significantly.

battery lasts FOREVER. I can go on a 3 day trip without having to dig through my suitcase to the charger, even after 1000s of shots. I also love the facility save mode which doesn’t require that you physically turn the photographic camera off, EVER. The power switch is actually set to the “on” place.

Build quality is superb, I don’t really know why everyone is fussing about it being built from polycarbonate. This is exactly the same material Magpul magazines are designed from. Its less than 1k, what do a person expect? I consider it a steal for what you escape this camera. Its essentially a 7D without the fps plus a few gucci features.

despite the presence of the Canon EOS 60D, i’m still saving up for that 5Dmk3 whenever it comes out. The 60D will in that case become my backup.
