Which class should I take first digital or analog?
I’m taking the AC/DC class right now. My professor said to take digital first, but I’m not totally sure.
I would think AC/DC follows up more to analog, but I guess I’ll probably take digital since the professor said so.
I agree with your professor, take Digital.
With digital you will study the concepts behind the equations, while in analog you will use calculus more to realistically fit the data to the equation.
Remember when you learned that Direct Curruent circuits have constant voltage and AC changed.
This effects how the data is perceived on a graph.
In the digital world we have exact values for voltage 0 and 1.
In the analog world we have a curve which means if we want to process it better we have to use Calculus concepts like Reiman Sums.
Analog is harder because of the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).
We are constantly weeding out this error ratio, which makes it difficult.
