High Water Levels on Lake Minnetonka Trigger Speed Restrictions
Lake Minnetonka’s water level is too high, and now speed limits have been put in effect to protect docs and shoreline. Boats cannot exceed 5 miles an hour within 600 feet of shore –and on some of the smaller bays, the entire bay is speed restricted.
