would a 19 inch lcd monitor (desktop) be better on my eyes than using a laptop?
The laptop is around 15-16 inches and is lcd. But when I lower the resolution for better viewing everything becomes fuzzy. I heard about Vista’s DPI that helps to increase the size of text. Am I better off buying a desktop that has a good monitor (19 inches or more) rather than wasting my time with a laptop if I am concerned about the clarity of the screen? I have very bad eye sight.
Well, if you get a desktop monitor with the same resolution as the laptop, everything will be bigger, however every time you lower the resolution on LCD displays, everything will get fuzzy. They just perform best at their ‘native’ resolution.
You can try reducing it by amounts which are the same aspect ratio (ie: 1680×1050 is reduced to 1440×900)
