The new Samsung Focus is perhaps the most excited Windows Phone 7 phone on the market, and that’s saying a lot considering just how many of them are right now. One of the reasons that the Focus has garnered so much attention is that it really does stands as it’s own, while some of the othe rmodels largely look the same. The only other device that comes close is its European cousin, the Omnia 7. Both devices boast a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, 8 GB internal storage, a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 5-megapixel camera. As soon as you hold it in your hand, you’ll know why this new device is so beloved.

Samsung designed a very specifically designed model for maximum comfort, and they’ve given it the ability to work up to 33 feet. Samsung has a Focus-specific desktop docking station that servers as a stand and a charger, and it even has built-in speakers that expand the Focus experience. It’s the perfect choice for the office. For the car, we prefer a device like the Samsung Focus windshield car mount. This unit gives you a great deal of flexibility as far as mounting it, but once it’s in place, it’s extremely sturdy. There’s little chance that you or even a rowdy child will dislodge it by accident.
There’s also a wide range of Samsung Focus cases on the market: hard, leather, pouch, and silicone. The best Samsung Focus case depends a great deal on how you use the device. Silicone offers style at a great price, and the cases defend well against scratches. However, if you were looking to protect the device from drops, a hard case would be best.
