Mack warranties for cameras?
My (refurbished) Nikon d3000 was dropped last week and I am going to be purchasing a replacement camera soon. I for sure want to get a longer warranty this time. However, I am going to be purchasing a refurb again and want to know how Mack warranties work with refurbs. Do Mack warranties even apply to refurbished cameras? Any info you can give would be great!
Also, I am going to be purchasing from adorama.com… so do I just buy the camera and the warranty together and I’m set? How does that work?

The best thing to do is contact Mack or visit their website. There are so many types of extended warranties available that you’ll need to find one that suits your needs.
You can usually save quite a bit of money buying a warranty from Mack directly, or a company like SquareTrade Warranties, rather than purchasing it from a camera retailer. However, some retailers may handle sending the camera in for repair under a warranty claim so it’s good to check.
You don’t have to buy a warranty at the time or place where you purchase your equipment. You usually have 30 days from the date of equipment purchase. Again, check the website for details.
I don’t know if Mack covers refurbished digital cameras; I do know that SquareTrade does.
