Can you explain to me how to reset my Minolta Dimage 7 to the factory default settings?
I changed a bunch if settings on my camera and not it freezes all the time. How do I reset it to the factory default settings? I tried going under Custom2 but I only have the options of Sharpness, Color Mode, Data Imprint, & Inst. Playback.
According to the User Manual for the Dimage 7, you should be able to do a Reset Default in the Custom 2 Setup Menu. Other options are EVF Auto Switch, Setting the Date and Time, Setting the Date Format and Video Output.
I think I know why you have a problem…Make sure you are in PLAYBACK mode. Not record/shoot mode. Because when you have the camera in this mode you can only access Sharpness, Color Mode, Date Imprint and Inst. Playback.
So, put the camera in Playback mode and I think you will then be able to access the other options.
