Should I get a SLR camera?
I have an olmpus stylus tough which takes ok photos. I am looking for better quality pictures and better zoom. Photography is a hobby of mine but not a massive one. Should i get a very nice new digital camera or an older SLR. My price range is between $250- $350
I love photography and have an older regular SLR. I am dying to get a digital SLR. Our photographer at work has said that you get what you pay for and if you purchase a digital SLR for less than $1,000 U.S. you are getting garbage. I believe him but I cannot afford one at that price when I have to pay college tuition for my son.
