I have an exposed/unexposed COLOR Negative films stored in Fridge, is it okay?
These are Kodak Pro Image100, Solid Gold 200 and Lucky Color Super 200. All of them are already exposed and is waiting for me to brought them to shops to be developed except for one Kodak pro Image that is not used yet. All are stored in their canisters then place in a sealed (lock ‘n’ lock) container.
Would this cause harm to the films? I have read that only Professional films are intended to be stored in fridge/freezer, what about these regular/consumer films that I have?
is storing-them-to-fridge will make them degrade slower? (exposed ones)
The unexposed is fine. The longer you wait to process film after exposure, the more degradation will occur to the image
Once light strikes the film, a chemical reaction begins and as time goes on, more and more silver halides surrounding the exposed part of the film react as if light had struck them.
