What’s the actual process that a movie goes through from a HD digital camera and onto the silver screen?
Once I finish shooting my movie with my Sony HD camcorder and do the editing in Final Cut Pro, what exactly happens then? What is the formatting that is used to finally get it up onto the big silver screen in the theaters?
you need to make a distribution print, ie make it into a motion picture film that can be projected. this can be done by Kodak’s Laser Pacific division. They also make DVDs from films.
