There is another question you need to ask, how did this question move from England to Canada where no one would probably know the answer. I suggest you look at the import regulations for a private citizen for your country or contact the necessary government agency with your question. There are several things to be considered, where the goods purchased while you were travelling and, if so, did you declare them on your return home. If so then there should be no further duty placed on the item. If, as is most likely, you ordered the items online or through a similar method then you may find that you have to pay duty prior to receiving your goods in England. The amount is generally dependant on the item you purchased, the total value of the object, and what category it falls under for calculating duty.
