What is your perception on Canon 50mm f1.4 USM Lens?
Where can I best use it (Portrait, Landscape et al.). Is it better for the wedding?
Yes, I am using a DSLR Canon EOS 350D
Do you have a full frame DSLR or a film camera, or you have a cropped sensor DSLR?
It’s a very usable lens as a 50 mm and a short telephoto when mounted on a cropped DSLR–so it works very nicely as a portrait lens.
It’s really fast–so you can use it indoor without using flash-most of the time.
It has FTM (full time manual focusing), which allows you to touch up the focusing without having to switch to M mode. Very handy.
And it’s one heck of a lens that costs much less than the 1.2 or 1.0 version.
I have the f 1.8 one. Tiny little thing.
