How can i configure my usb mic to work on Vista?
I just bought a mic for my computer. The Rode Podcaster.Then i bought a laptop that came with Vista. When i used the mic on my comp it workd,but on vista it dsnt..is there a way i can configure it and wat models of mics work on vista?
Check on the manufacturer web site if they have a Vista driver… Never mind, Rode doesn’t have any drivers for this device.
I would suggest going back to XP (downgrades are included in the Vista license if I recall) until Microsoft and the various hardware vendors can sort out the poor driver availability and stability.
