Hello, I would like to get this phone for my brother’s Christmas present and he’s been saying that unlocked phones are compatible with T-mobile since T-mobile uses the SIM card.

It could work for T-Mobile’s coverage at GSM1900, but if you’re trying to roam on GSM850 (mostly rural areas), it won’t work.
